The standard for ultra-lightweight performance helmets, it is characterized by an EPS Liner that is bonded to a lightweight PC Shell by means of a distinct molding process. As with the Hard Shell construction, the lightweight EPS Liner forms the inner layer of the helmet and is constructed from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) beads expanded to the shape of the helmet. The EPS is then wrapped by the Polycarbonate PC Shell in the In-Mold to form a clean protective envelope that is vacuum formed paper thin to minimize weight.
K2Dialed Fit System
The all NEW K2dialed fit system customizes the fit of your helmet for the ultimate in comfort and adjustability. The K2dialed unit is integral to our helmets and conforms to the shape of your head for a secure overall fit. An ergonomically inspired three point adjustable interface maximizes stability and customization for different head shapes and goggle sizes. The result of the K2dialed Fit System is a helmet with a customized fit just for you. Available on Moxie, Crossfire, Clutch, Shadow, Indy, Edge and Edge Jr. How to Adjust: The 3 point interface lets you adjust the fixed position of the K2dialed unit to ensure the most personal and custom fit possible. Simply adjust for different head sizes by moving the strap arm positions fore and aft up to 8mm and the cradle height up to 16mm by snapping the pins on the K2dialed fit system into strategically positioned holes on our helmet interior. One handed (gloved) operation through a quick twist of the dial wheel at the back takes advantage of our 40mm range in adjustment and ensures you get a snug stable fit. Dial it in before each run or set it once for the whole day, it’s that easy.
Active Matrix Venting
The freedom of venting control at your finger tips. Specifically designed by K2 to give greater freedom in venting design, the active matrix system (patent pending) allows active regulation of larger vents at less the weight and effort. The result is a helmet superior in style and function that adjusts on the fly to regulate ventilation comfort. Available on Moxie and Crossfire.
Baseline Audio System Included - Ear Pads
Ergonomically designed for comfort and function, our ear pads help you customize how you like to use and wear your helmet. Removable The new minimal removable design allows you to snap your ear pad into place for easy attachment and removal. Baseline Audio Pocket Designed for comfort and low profile appearance, a hidden pocket lets you easily stow or remove the Baseline Audio speakers. You won’t notice they are there unless you have the music turned up.
